Heart #5

Really our lives on this earth boil down to this verse! You either do it or you don't:

Deuteronomy 6:5
5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

Do you Love God with all you got? Jesus himself repeated this very verse:

Matthew 22:37
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

Don't get caught here in this next verse because God knows the truth:

Matthew 15:8
8 ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.

Talk is cheap and I am afraid many folk are right here in their lives because what they say and what they do are two different things! So this morning look at your heart. Are you completely surrendered to God or are you fooling yourself?

What ever it takes, love God with everything you got because He has done everything to try and save your soul through His Son Jesus Christ!
