All God’s!

Man must remember his place. We are to take care of what is God’s. All is His and we need to remember that instead of trying to play God ourselves!

1 Chronicles 29:11

11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness,

The power and the glory,

The victory and the majesty;

For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours;

Yours is the kingdom, O Lord,

And You are exalted as head over all.

God is head of all! Instead of trying to take Him out of everything, we must remember He is in and over everything. Let Him lead!!!

Desire to glorify

Lord my prayer for today is to glorify your name in everything I do!

Psalm 19:14

14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart

Be acceptable in Your sight,

O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

Lord you are the One who guides me and loves me. You are my strength and my Redeemer. As your servant help me to see others as you see them and love them as you love them so they may see You in me!

My desire is to glorify You, Jesus, this day and everyday! Help me to do so!

Always a way out!

We have no excuses as followers of Jesus to give in to sin. God tells us He has provided a way out, so if we give in it is on us!

1 Corinthians 10:13 

13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to [a]bear it.

God is faithful!!!! We will never be tempted beyond what we are able to handle. That is so awesome that God puts a limit on our temptation. So brothers and sisters stand strong and flee those temptations and bring God glory!!!

Sing, Sing, Sing!

God is good and no one deserves praise more than God!

Psalm 47:6 

6 Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!


So this day and everyday let us sing and shout the praises of our Lord to all that will listen. Let us let our God know how much we love Him and appreciate all He does and all he does not do because He knows best!

Lord I will sing of your love forever! Thank you Lord for loving me and taking care of me!

New heart, new life!

We are sinners, we are wicked, we are lost, we are going to hell! Not very good news huh?

I have good news though, you can have this:

“I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.” —Ezekiel 36:26–27

Put your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and you will get a new heart and the Holy Spirit to dwell in you! The precious blood of Jesus will cover our sin, our wickedness! Jesus will save us from hell!!!! Praise the Lord!!! With this new heart we will have the desire to please our Lord and with this new Spirit in us we have the power to live holy lives!!! Now that is good news!!!

Come to Jesus and come get the abundant life!

A daily scripture prayer

To be the best we can be for our Lord here is a small piece of scripture that is great to be prayed daily:

Psalm 139:23-24 

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;

Try me, and know my anxieties;

24 And see if there is any wicked way in me,

And lead me in the way everlasting.

1. Lord search me!
2. Lord know what is in my heart.
3. Lord Try me! Know that praying that can produce challenges!
4. Lord know what troubles me
5. Lord see if any wickedness is in me and help me get rid of it!
6. Lord lead me in the everlasting way…the way that helps me be like you!

We want to be our best for the Lord….Let the Lord search us and lead us! No better way to be our best for Jesus!

Fear or Truth? Music Friday

Fear is a liar but Jesus is the Truth...which are you going to surrender to today?

John 14:6

Fire!!!

When ever a fire breaks out we yell Fire!!!! We automatically know to flee the area and help others get out as well. There is a fire coming…..Fire!!!

Revelation 20:15 

15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

First make sure you are safe from the fire….do you have a personal relationship with Jesus the Savior of the world? 

Second, help others be safe from the fire. Share the gospel. It is the only way of escape! Jesus came to this world because He loves us. We are all sinners headed fro the fire but He provided salvation through faith in Him. Trusting that His death, burial, and resurrection over came sin and death to provide salvation and a place in heaven forever. Thus safe from the fire!

So what about it? Are you safe? Are you helping others get to safety? Both are a must!

It is one or the other. So this day what are you going to do???

Galatians 1:10 

10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Stand for God or stand with the lost world, what is it going to be? Are you standing on the Word of God or are you letting society persuade you? If we choose the world we are not servants of Jesus!

Chew on that today!

I trust Him!

Like Job I trust the Lord. He is in control of my life and will take care of my needs. 

Job 1:21b 

21b  The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;

    may the name of the Lord be praised.”

I will forever praise Him no matter what comes my way because He loves me and has given me eternal life through His Son Jesus. I love Him! Can you say the same? I pray you can and if you need to talk I am always here!

Die to live

This is a strange to us scripture but truth to the fullest when we understand it.

2 Timothy 2:11 

11 Here is a trustworthy saying:

If we died with him,

    we will also live with him;

To truly live we must die. We must die to our sins through the shed blood of Jesus Christ and thus we will live with Him forever in heaven.

We fight like crazy to live the longest we can here on earth when in reality we need to fight like crazy to live in eternity with God as the devil will do his best not to allow that to happen. 

Die to self and surrender to Christ is the abundant life that Jesus told us He came to give! Have you died to self? No time like today to do that and truly live!!!
