A couple verses all need to know and remember!
“Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.” Revelation 1:17–18
Jesus has the keys of Death and Hades! He is in control and has the power to save from both! You must put your faith in Him and follow Him!!!

Yesterday started advent. Advent defined is the arrival of a notable person. For the follower of Jesus it is the arrival of the most important person ever....Jesus!!! With each week before we celebrate the birth of Jesus each advent week also has a word that goes with it. This week it is hope! Our hope is in Jesus and Jesus alone!
11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
We have hope in Jesus who gave Himself for us to redeem us!!!
Thank you Lord for coming to die for us and providing the hope we need!

Whatever you are dealing with our loving God will see you through if you have committed your life to Him!
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
God loves you and cares about you. Give all you have to Him! Trust Him! He will bring you through!!! Thank you Lord Jesus!

But the word of our God stands forever.”
One thing we must never forget is God and His Word are eternal. They are forever! Thus we must read His Word, learn His word, meditate on His word, and live His word in our lives for we will be with Him for eternity if put our faith in Jesus. But if we do not heed His word we will be in hell forever!
God in His great love and mercy has given us a guide book for life and eternity....it is our choice to obey it or leave it behind. Just remember forever is a mighty long time!

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Jesus has all authority and will be coming back to judge those who have rejected Him soon! He will also judge the works of those who serve Him. Are you prepared to meet the ONE with all authority??!!

1 John 1:5-6
5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
According to the Word of God we can test ourselves of our fellowship with Jesus. Are walking in light...the truth? If so we are in fellowship with Jesus. Or are you walking in darkness...sin? If so you are walking with Satan. It is that simple according to the Word of God.
So who you fellowshipping with?

A former youth of mine Kati Prince Kent posted this last night and I wanted to share with you all:
John Piper says, "There is no power in the universe that can stop God from fulfilling his totally good plans for you." These words are confirmed by Job 42:2, "I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted." God is always doing more than you know, working toward a good you'll one day rejoice in. AMEN!!

Romans 1:17
17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
God makes it pretty simple for us...faith! To be just in the eyes of God we must have faith in Jesus Christ being the Son of God, His death, burial, and resurrection on behalf of our sins!!!
That simple but yet oh so hard for many who are blinded by Satan.
Have faith! For it is the power unto salvation!

“Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith” (2 Corinthians 13:5).
It is our responsibility to look at our lives, know the Word of God, to see if we are saved! Nobody else can tell us if we are saved or not. It is between you and God. Of course if you are living like the devil it is easy to see if one is saved or not! So examine yourself by the Word of God and make sure you are right with God!

Jesus loves you and I so much that He came out of His glory in heaven to come to earth to suffer, bleed, die, and then resurrect in defeating death and sin all for us!!!

Psalm 84:11
For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
The Lord will give grace and glory;
No good thing will He withhold
From those who walk uprightly.
We have such an awesome, loving God! He procides for us as well as protects us. He provides what we need and more!!! The key is to right with God and we can only do that with a personal relationship with Jesus! Do you have one?
