Where is your foundation built?

 Matthew 7:24

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:

Have you built you house on the rock or on some other foundation that will collapse??? There is only ONE solid foundation in this world of faith and it is Jesus!!!

Do the Word of God and show you are wise!

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, 

A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.

This is a simple truth from the bible! To be wise it all starts with knowing God and that He is all powerful thus you have a respectful fear of the one who created you and can do as He pleases!!! So when we understand that we obey His Word and give Him praise for His love, mercy, and grace through Jesus!!!

Go after Jesus not the world!

 “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? For what can a man give in return for his soul?” Mark 8:36–37

There is nothing more valuable than a relationship with Jesus who is the only ONE who can save your soul from an eternity in hell. Sadly some chose to go after the things of the world instead of following the One who loves you more than anyone...Jesus!

Make the right choice....Jesus!

Enjoy Freedom correctly!

 For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. - Galatians 5:13

We are free in Christ! We need to make sure we are using that freedom to glorify God not self! So in our freedom let's serve each other in love and according to the Word of God! Freedom lived out in our walk with God is a beautiful thing!

Oh I just wan to praise the Lord for this verse has been proved out in my life many times!!! Thank you Jesus! I bet you can say the same?

Good things!

 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. Matthew 12:35

The only way we can be good is by the blood of Jesus covering our sins! We must put our faith in Him to bring forth good things in our life!!!!

I pray we are all bringing for good things not evil things in our lives!!!

29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

Let us be like Jesus today and everyday. Control our mouths and let us build folks up not tear people down all for the glory of God!

Something to think on....

 I read this yesterday and it gave me something to think on so I will share it with you....

How often do you reads God's Word?

It is written that we will be destroyed for our lack of knowledge of God's Word.

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."

Hosea 4:6

Do you know the Word of God???

This is the day the Lord has made;

We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Yes! Use it for His glory!!!

So thankful to be new!

 If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17

I am so thankful to be new in Christ. The renewing is complete in God's eyes because of the shed blood of Jesus covering me but in my day to day walk it is a battle to stay Christ-like as Satan tries to knock me down. I must keep my focus on Jesus and finish my race to the glory of God!

If you are a new creation...keep the faith and keep fighting for the goodness of God! Ig you are not I pray you come to Jesus and experience the mercy, grave, forgiveness, newness, and the love of God. It is the greatest blessing one can have!

Betrayal

 Luke 22:3-6

3 Then Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the twelve. 4 So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them. 5 And they were glad, and agreed to give him money. 6 So he promised and sought opportunity to betray Him to them in the absence of the multitude.

Ever been betrayed by a good friend? This is what happened to Jesus on this day of Holy week. No doubt Jesus wished Judas would repent of this but we have no information from the bible He did. Jesus would have forgave Him the question for us is would we???

Are you a sheep?

 John 10:11

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

Only for the sheep does the Shepherd give His life. You must be a follower of the Shepherd...Jesus!

Be sure you have given your life to Him as your Lord and Savior. Only way for Salvation!

Bore our sins

 1 Peter 2:24

24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

Jesus took our sins to the cross so we can have righteousness in the sight of God. His body took the stripes for us! Chew on that today. 

Thank you Jesus....we are so unworthy!

Start your Monday off knowing that if you are with God He holds your hand, guides you with counsel, and one day will receive you to glory!!! Thank you Lord Jesus for loving us and being with those who proclaim you Lord and Savior of their lives! We are grateful!
