Be proud of your kids!

God has me!!!

This verse says it all for me:

Psalm 73:26

26 My flesh and my heart fail;
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

I am weak! But when I have God which I have since 1991 then I am strong! God gives me all I need at exactly the right time. I love my God!!!

Thank you Jesus for giving me everything I need and help me to always seek more of you!

Be real!

Do you Love the Lord?

This verse is so very simple yet so very hard at the same time…chew on it for a bit:

John 14:15
15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.

Notice the word “if”. There is a stipulation to our love for Jesus. Obeying His Word. For the follower of Jesus, one of the ways we show our love for Him is by doing what He says on a consistent basis. We all fail but is the majority of your life striving to follow Jesus with all you got? Be honest!

So let us show our love for Jesus by obeying the ONE who gave His all for us!

Do whatever it takes!

Mark 9:43-48
43 If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched— 44 where
‘Their worm does not die
And the fire is not quenched.’
45 And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched— 46 where
‘Their worm does not die,
And the fire is not quenched.’
47 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire— 48 where
‘Their worm does not die
And the fire is not quenched.’

Think very hard on this verse. God is telling us whatever keeps us from coming to Jesus and surrendering all for Him, we must do whatever it takes to follow Jesus and thus gain eternal life!

I have seen and heard about this verse a couple times yesterday so I wanted to share it with you today. It should make you think very hard!!

Jesus The I AM

Who do you trust?

Thomas Kempis made a very truthful statement many years ago: “Do not put your trust in friends and relatives, and do not put off the care of your soul till later, for men will forget you more quickly than you think.”

So who do you trust? There is only ONE in whom we can put all our trust and never be let down and that ONE is Jesus!

Proverbs 3:5-6

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct[a] your paths.

2 Samuel 22:31

31 As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

Psalm 5:11

11 But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You;
Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them;
Let those also who love Your name
Be joyful in You.

2 Corinthians 1:9-10

9 Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, 10 who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us,
So have you put your trust in Jesus and thus made sure your soul is taken care of? I pray you have for we do not know what tomorrow brings! Live for and trust Jesus today!
