Tell Him often.

As in any relationship, but most importantly this one, we need to let the Lord know how we feel often!!!

Psalm 18:1

18 will love You, O Lord, my strength.

The only thing I would change in this is I would remove the word will!!! I love you Lord! Say it often. Let the Lord know how much He means to you! As this verse finishes out....He is our strength. Without Him we are nothing and have no hope. But with Him we have all we need and much much more!

God is love and He deserves our love above all else! Let Him know how much He means to you daily!!!

Hear, believe equals life

The Lord makes it simple for us:

John 5:24

24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
1. Hear the Word of God.
2. Believe in God and Jesus
3. Eternal life is granted to those who believe and follow Jesus!
Very simple but yet so hard for many to do. Believe the Words of Jesus as they have the power to save and give life!!!!

Do we really need any one else?

Think about this:

Romans 8:31

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
If God is for us, do we really need anyone else? The answer is no! While we do like to have relationships with others, if God is with us then He is all we need! The key though is to have that personal, intimate relationship with Him through Jesus our Lord and Savior.
When we are living for God and doing things His way we win no matter what comes our way! So let's be faithful servants for God is for us and with us!

Be careful who you spend time with!

God gives us fair warning in His Word about folks we spend time with:

Proverbs 13:20

20 He who walks with wise men will be wise,
But the companion of fools will be destroyed.

You become like whom you spend time with. Spend time with godly, wise people and you will over time become like them. However if you spend time with fools over time you will become like them. Pretty simple but yet oh so true. Choose your friends carefully!

Lord help me chose friends who follow You and search your Word deeply for wisdom and instruction. Our goal is to be like you and love others! Thank You Lord for loving us and guiding us!

Give it to God!

Whatever you face this day that you think is impossible, turn it over to God and let Him take care of it.

Matthew 19:26

26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
For God to move you must put your faith in Him. When you do God will take care of you. He will do what is best for you in your situation. You must trust Him! But remember He is God and what is best for you may not be what you want! I have found many times that what I wanted was not the best but that God's way is ALWAYS the way!
God loves us, and nobody does something that is not best for the one's they love. Trust Him! He will do what's best for you!

Israel is God's and so are you!

This is a two fold message:

Isaiah 43:1

But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob,
And He who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.

While this verses was addressing Israel, as they are God's chosen people whom God used to bring salvation to all. I believe the message also can be applied for those who have called upon Jesus as Lord and Savior.

1. We have nothing to fear...we are God's children.
2.God has given all the chance for redemption through Jesus...have you received it?
3. God knows your name. He is a personal God. He made you in His image!
4. You are God's! The question is will you accept that and live for the One who made you and gave His only Son for your sins so you can be redeemed!

What a beautiful Word from God. chew on that today. Praise God for His goodness!
