Continued definition of the gospel from David Platt's book "Don't Hold Back";
The gospel is a gracious invitation from God for sinners from every nation, tribe, people, and language to repent and believe in Jesus for the forgiveness of their sins, turning from all idols to declare allegiance to Jesus alone as King and trust Jesus alone as Lord.
Have you declared your allegiance to Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life??? I pray you have!!!

I have started a new book by David Platt called "Don't hold back" and he shared a definition of the gospel that I though was pretty good so I want to share that with you in 3 parts over the next few days to think on:
The gospel is the good news that the one and only true God, the loving Creator, sovereign King, and holy Judge of all, has looked on men and women wonderfully, equally, and uniquely made us in His image who have rebelled against Him, and separated from Him, and deserve death before Him, and He has sent His Son< Jesus, God in the flesh, to live a perfect and powerful life, to die a sacrificial and substitutionary death, and to rise from the grace in victory over sin, Satan, and death.
Chew on that today!

Psalm 45:4
In your majesty ride forth victoriously,
in the cause of truth, humility and justice;
let your right hand achieve awesome deeds.
This is exactly what The Lord Jesus has done and will do when He comes back soon! He is the Victor, He is Truth, He is Humble, He is Justice, and by the power of His Right Hand His Kingdom will be set up forever and ever and all His faithful followers will be with Him for eternity!

In life we will find that nothing satisfies us more than Jesus. We can try drugs, alcohol, relationships, food , and the list can go on and on. We are made with a piece of us missing that can only be filled by a relationship with Jesus our Lord and Savior.
So let us praise the One who trull satisfies....Jesus!

Psalm 91:2
I will say of the Lord,
“He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
This is the answer to life! If we do not recognize the God who created us we miss the whole point. I relationship with Him and an opportunity to spend eternity with Him.
He is my God and I trust Him....do you???
