Don’t be fooled!

Hebrews 13:8-9a

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. 9 Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines.

Don’t be fooled by the world who tries to tell you the Word of God changes. Jesus is the Word and the Word does not change! Get in your bibles and learn the Word!!! God is Holy, Just, and Righteous! His Word stands forever. Stand upon the Word not the sinking sand of the world!!!

Don’t be fooled, Jesus never changes!

Only YOU are worthy!

If I have learned anything in my 49 years it is this….only God is worthy of all honor, glory, and praise!

Revelation 4:11a

11a “You are worthy, O Lord,

To receive glory and honor and power;

If we can keep this in mind and know who is in control of all things we can face all things in the power of our Lord. Shout the praises for God is good!!!

Remember He is waiting to bring His children home to be with Him!

Remember it is not about you!

When you are a follower of Jesus we must humble our selves and  put others first. This is very hard for us to do but we can train ourselves to do it with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Luke 18:14b

14b  for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Removing our pride for self and putting ourselves before others is not what God desires for us and we can not reach many for Jesus if we are not a humble people!

Remember this life is about serving others not ourselves!

Goal For The Day!

For the follower of Jesus, this is our goal each and everyday:

Colossians 3:17 

17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Doing our best to bring God glory. In school, at work, on the ballfields, studying His Word, in prayer, raising our children, or anything else let us do it for Jesus!!!!

He is worthy of nothing but the best from His followers!

As God loves me…

As God loves me and has forgiven me of my sins against Him we must do the same for others.

1 Peter 4:8 

8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”

If we truly love others as God loves us then we can forgive peoples wrong doings against us. Look past their sin and look at them as made in the image of God. 

Also remember these words of the Lord:

Matthew 6:15 

15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

May we love and forgive!!!
