Fully Pleasing Him?

This verse stuck with me from yesterday's sermon. 

Colossians 1:10

10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

1.  Are we walking worthy of the Lord? 

2. Are we fully pleasing Him?

3. Are we being fruitful? Ex. Sharing gospel, loving others, ect.

4. Are we increasing in knowledge of God? BY studying His word?

Chew on these today as they are important to our faith!

Use blessings wisely.

 Proverbs 3:9-10

Honor the Lord with your possessions,

And with the firstfruits of all your increase;

So your barns will be filled with plenty,

And your vats will overflow with new wine.

God blesses you with possessions, a job, money, and such. These are His that He lets you use. We are to use them wisely and honor Him in the way we use them. Think about that. He also wants us to support His church and help others with what He has blessed us with. 

The question is are we? Also is there anything we do with our blessings that do not please Him?

Remember who built it all!

 Hebrews 3:4

4 For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.

Some days it seems others are in control. As followers of Jesus we need to always remember who built all including us....God! He is in control. He has a plan and is fulfilling it before our very eyes. Somedays we may visible see it and some days we may not but it doesn't matter because the God who loves us is leading the way.

So no need to worry our God is in control and our God wins!

Do you know?

 Cast all your anxiety on God, because He cares for you.

-1 Peter 5:7

Do you know we have a God that personally cares about you? Give all your problems to Him and He will help you take care of them. He is your best friend if you will put your faith in Him. After all He died on the cross for you so you can have that relationship and have eternity with you!

So remember when you think no one cares or no one loves you...you are wrong because you have a God that is love and loves you so very much!!!

Ready to face the week?

 Hebrews 13:5-6

5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we may boldly say:

“The Lord is my helper;

I will not fear.

What can man do to me?”

The Word you need each and everyday and to start this week off..."I will never leave nor forsake you." Jesus is with us and will never leave no matter what this day or week brings!!! That is all I need to know!

Then we are reminded with Jesus as our helper we have nothing to fear for what can a man do to me when I have Jesus??
