Do you have a shield?

 “Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.” Proverbs 30:5

When we know God's word is true. Then we read God's word to learn of Him the way He desires for us to live. Then we apply His word to our lives. Then we trust Him and He is our shield and refuge for our lives and His word proves true! Oh what an amazing God we serve!

Separation to reconciliation!

Great news from God's word!

 “Your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.” Isaiah 59:2

“God through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:18

These two verses are very important to us! One says sin has separated us from God but then we get the good news that Jesus has reconciled us to God by taking our sins to the cross and sacrificing himself on our behalf!!!

Chew on that today and give God some praise!!!

Help me to see!

 Lord help us to see everything you want us to learn, know, and apply in our lives from your word!

“Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law.” -Psalm 119:18

Your word Lord is full of your wisdom that we need to live a holy life to be pleasing to you! Help us Lord to see it and obey it in every area of our lives! Thank you Lord for giving us a guide book for our lives! We are grateful!

God is good! He loves us! He has provided everything we need! Let's start of this Monday by praising the Lord and being thankful for all God is and all God has done to take care of us!

Mindful of us!

 Psalm 8:3-4

When I consider Your heavens, 

the work of Your fingers,

The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, 

What is man that You are mindful of him, 

And the son of man that You visit him?

Have you ever thought about all that God has created and how powerful He is yet He made us in HIS image and loves us and is mindful of us! Wow just think on that a while. God loves us so much and desires a relationship with each one of us. He is worthy of our praise!!!

Thank you Lord for being mindful of sinners lie us but yet loving us and providing salvation through your Son Jesus! All glory and honor to You!!!

Be kind!!!

Simple advice for us from the word of God. Speak kindly to one another. Not only is is good foe the hearer but it also is a blessing to the speaker as well. Set the example as a follower of Jesus and be kind to others!!!
