Goals for 23?
What are your spiritual goals for 2023? Here are a few things to consider:
1. If Jesus is not your Lord and Savior that is the most important task for you in 2023!!!
2. Bible reading and learning. If you have never read your bible all the way through do it this year! If you have make sure you are in habit of reading some everyday!
3. Prayer-make it a priority to spend quality time with God....allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to you as well as you speaking to God.
4. Loving others---God tells us this is the second greatest commandment. True followers of Jesus make this a practice in their life yes even those who are hard to love!
5. Give! You have been blessed by God so bless others with what God has blessed you with! Many are in need and some just want to know somebody cares about them!
6. Make church a priority, We need brothers and sisters in Christ and the Word of God preached to us!
7. Share the gospel!!! This is of great importance as we see the return of Jesus approaching!!! Remember without Jesus hell is the destination.
If you can do these 7 things you will have a blessed new year in the Lord!

Still true in 22 and will be in 23!!
I read this on a tweet and though it was good enough to share with you:
7 things still true in 2022: 1. God is still sovereign. 2. Christ is still reigning. 3. The Spirit is still interceding. 4. The church is still essential. 5. Satan is still deceiving. 6. The gospel is still saving. 7. Glory is still coming!
These will still be true in 23! Keep the faith and share the gospel!!!

Are you ready?
Romans 14:12
12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.
Just chew on this one today. Short and simple. One day we will all give an account of ourselves to God. Are you ready to do so today? The only way one can be ready is to know Jesus as Lord and Savior of their life!!!

Word became flesh
John 1:14
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Jesus who is the Word was born and we behold Him as The Savior of the world. The Son of God and we glorify Him who is full of grace and truth. Oh how beautiful He is to bring us this truth as The Word....our guide book for life.
As we celebrate Christmas take time to think about Jesus as the Word and all that He has brought to us through the bible. Behold His glory in His Word!

Worship and gifts
Matthew 2:11
11 And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.
As we see here they Jesus was found and they worshipped and gave gifts. So here are a couple questions to us:
1. Have you found Jesus?
2. Have you worshipped Jesus as your Savior?
3. What gifts do you give Jesus? Your tithe, your time, your service, or the honor of giving others the gospel??
Let us worship and give to Jesus for He alone is worthy!
