“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor detest His correction; For whom the Lord loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.”
Proverbs 3:11-12
We sin. Thankfully God forgives our sin when we are in Christ. There will be consequences because of our sin for our own correction. Our loving heavenly Father wants us to be obedient and chastening is needed! Be thankful God loves you enough to correct you even though it hurts!
