Go into this Monday strong!
As followers of Jesus we need to do this everyday but since it is Monday let’s start the week of right and remember this:
Psalm 16:8
8 I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
No matter what comes our way today the Lord is going before us! He is our strength (right hand) and nothing is going to move us!
So get out of the way Satan or we will run over you because our God is leading us!
Let’s do this brothers and sisters! Obey the Word, love others, and tell someone about Jesus!

Set The Example
As followers of Jesus we are to set the example for the world. Are we? Let us obey the Word of God:
Ephesians 4:31-32
31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
When we set the example many will want to know what makes us different and then we can tell them….JESUS!

Beware!
The world and especially the USA is doing this very thing often. Let us know the truths of God’s Word and not be fooled!!
Isaiah 5:20
20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Abortion, drunkenness, homosexuality, lies, stealing, disrespecting others, and the list goes on and on. We take what God says is evil and wrong and say it is good and ok to do.
NO!
God demands us to submit to Him and His Word! We can choose not to but be warned judgement is coming.
Choose the truth of the Word and be set free in Christ Jesus and stand upon that truth not wavering to the right or to the left!

As faithful followers may we join the psalmist and pray this often:
Psalm 119:37
37 Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things,
And revive me in Your way.
Help us oh Lord to focus on YOU! Not on the worthless things of this world.
May you Lord revive us to do life YOUR way.
We desire to be all you want us to be Lord…give us Your power through the Holy Spirit and may YOU be glorified in every thing we say and do!

Proverbs 7:1-3
1 My son, keep my words
and treasure up my commandments with you;
2 keep my commandments and live;
keep my teaching as the apple of your eye;
3 bind them on your fingers;
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Nothing more important in our lives than the Word of God!!!
