Conquerors!!!

 It is wonderful to know that as a follower of Jesus we are conquerors in this life!!!

Romans 8:35-37 

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

No matter what the devil throws at us....we win...we conqueror through the power of the Holy Spirit!!! Remember this as it empowers the soul and mind to know through Jesus we have already won!!!!

Be humble like Jesus!

Jesus was a humble man. He demonstrated this by the life He lived on this earth. If anyone could have had some pride come through it would be the Son of God!!! BUT He humbled himself unto death for our sins! Wow! So are you humble or prideful? What would others say?

Luke 14:11 

11 For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” 

Judgement will come one day for all of us. Those who are prideful will be brought down! Those who are humble will be exalted by our Lord!!! What an honor that will be!!!

Let's examine ourselves and if changes need to be made do it!

Perfect peace!

 True peace can be found in only ONE!

Isaiah 26:3 

3 You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.

God keeps those who keep Him in their hearts, minds focus on Him, and trusts Him in a peace that only He can provide. So the question is why to we try to obtain peace any where else??? Come to Jesus, He loves you!!

Make sure!

Even after supposedly believing on Jesus and being baptized Peter told Simon the sorcerer :

Acts 8:21 

21 You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God.

What do we need to learn from this? False conversions do happen! You can have a head knowledge without a heart faith! Make sure your heart is right with God!!!! Repent and put your faith in Christ and follow Him the rest of your life!

There is only one place for us to go for help:

Psalm 121:1-2

From whence comes my help?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.

The Lord loves us and is there for us. Our help comes from Him for He has the answers to all things. Seek Him, follow Him and obey Him for He is God!!! Thank you Lord for being there for us!!!

We can never praise the Lord enough! He deserves it and is worthy of it!

Shout it all day long!!! Encourage one another to do so!

Who gets the glory today?

 Everyday we have a choice of who to give the glory to that day. We can chose self, we can chose our child, we can chose a spouse, we can chose a friend, but there is only ONE who deserves it each day!

Revelation 4:11 

11 “You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they [b]exist and were created.”

The Lord deserves all the glory and honor from us each day. Do we give it to Him? We were created to do so! He is God and He is worthy! So let's do what we were made to do! Glorify, worship, and praise the Lord!!!!

 As followers of Jesus we must always remember this:

Romans 8:31 

God's Everlasting Love

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

No matter what the world throws at us let us remember God is for us and that is all we need! In the end we win and will be with Jesus forever! But we also need to remember God wants us to share the gospel for He desires non to perish but to come to Him in faith! 

God is for us!!! What comforting words!!!

Jesus followers...what we need to do!

 Here is a prescription for those who have put their faith in Jesus:

2 Chronicles 7:14 

14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

1. humble ourselves...which may include repentance of sin.

2. pray!

3. seek God's face.

4. turn from any wickedness in our lives and repent!

5. God will hear, forgive, and heal our land!

The ball is in our court.....what are we gonna do?

Call on God!

 Read this:

Jeremiah 33:3 

3 Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

Let us all call on God everyday! He will answer those who have put their faith in Jesus. He will show us great and hidden things in the Word and in our lives so that we may bring glory and honor to His name! What an honor for us to be heard and shown things by our mighty God who loves us!

Call on Him and then be an obedient servant!

John 13:35 

By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

God says everyone will know you are a disciple of His if you love one another. Do you love others? Is it obvious? Do the people you work with feel loved by you? Do you love all your family even the ones that are hard to love? God even tells us to love our enemies. He wants us to love one another the question is are we being obedient???

1. The Lord is good!

2. The Lord is a stronghold in our troubles!

3. The Lord knows who takes refuge in Him!

Thankful for a Lord that loves us and wants us to be with Him!!!

Let God lead our steps!

 We have many plans for our life. Many times our plan does not match up with God's plan for our life!

Proverbs 16:9 

9 The heart of man plans his way,
    but the Lord establishes his steps.

Let us seek God's plan for our life for He knows what is best for us and what will bring glory to His name! That is why we are on this earth to serve God and glorify His name!!! Let's do it!

Still only one name.

 God had a plan to save us from our sins:

Matthew 1:21 

21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”

There is still only one name that saves people from their sins...Jesus.

There will never be another way for eternal life in heaven with God but Jesus. Come to Him today. Serve Him for He is worthy of all honor and praise!!!
