All for Jesus!
We need to remember what this verse has to say to us:
Colossians 1:16
16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
Not only did God say all things were created by Jesus but all things were created for Jesus. Think about that. You were created for Jesus. To worship Him, love Him, obey Him, appreciate Him, and adore Him. That is why we are on this earth...for Jesus!!!
Are we living our lives for the purpose we were created....for Jesus?

Listen and do!
Let us obey the word:
James 1:22
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
We must hear the Word. Then as followers of Jesus it is our duty to do what the Word says. For is we just hear and do not do we prove we are not truly followers of Jesus. Those who follow their Savior do what He says to do because we love Him knowing He loves us and will only tell us what is best for us!
So are you doing the Word of God???

Let's remember to put others first!
As we start another day trying our best to be like Jesus let us do as He did...put others first.
Romans 12:10
10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
No matter what we are doing today....driving down the road, shopping, working, ect., let us show love to others and put them first. Can you imagine the difference in the world it would make if everyone did this daily???? Let us as followers of Jesus set the example put others before yourself!!!

Don't let this be you!
God was talking to Moses and told him He was sending him to bring His people our of bondage in Egypt. Here was Moses's first reply:
Exodus 4:12-13
12 Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.” 13 But he said, “Oh, my Lord, please send someone else.”
Wow! God has jobs for you as well!!! It is an honor to serve the Lord and when He tells us to so something we should not hesitate but move immediately!! God will provide what we need to do His tasks all we have to do is obey! He tells us to share the gospel....are we obeying?
Let's not be like Moses and hesitate or make excuses!! Let's be obedient!

Glorify the Lord!
This should be our prayer everyday as followers of Jesus:
Psalm 19:14
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.
Jesus is our strength and Jesus is our Redeemer and because He is we want to glorify His name!!! So everything we say and everything we think about and everything we do should be acceptable to Him by living a holy life. We must keep it a priority and think about what we are doing at all times to be able to do this as the devil wants to bring us down!!!
Lord give us the strength through the power of the Holy Spirit to glorify you with every area of our lives!!!

Have you called upon Him?
God made us with an ability to chose and free will. He wants us to chose Him as that is why He made us to worship Him and have fellowship with Him. Have you called upon the Lord Jesus to come to be Lord and Savior of your life?

And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.
1. The Lord is good!
2. He wants to forgive you of your sins through Jesus shed blood.
3. The Lord is merciful.
4. The Lord is waiting for you to call Him.

The greatest privilege in life is to become a son of God by putting your faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior. It is your choice! Don't miss out! The best life is a life in Christ. It also has eternal consequences! Heaven or Hell. Put your faith in Christ and follow Him you will not regret it!

Have you lost your soul?
We need to be reminded of this verse often:
Mark 8:36
36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
Are we more concerned about the material things of this world or our following our Lord? The basic teaching of the bible is to work to meet our needs to survive and then all our efforts are to be serving the Lord. Is that our lifestyle? Generally our life styles are to work to meet our needs and to get all our wants and then fit a little Jesus in if we find the time. This is why we need to read this verse often. For the bible says:
Matthew 6:21
21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Is our heart in things of the world or is our heart in our Lord? Don't lose your soul over the world!

Desire to be with God!
Being alive on this earth is a blessing but the desire of those who follow Jesus is to be with Him in heaven and away from the wickedness on this earth!
Psalm 84:10
10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
No matter the job we have in heaven it will be greater than any day we have had on earth! Being in the presence of God will be more than we can put into words. Remember this each day and glorify the name of our Lord with the lives we live on this side of heaven! It won't be long before King Jesus comes to get His own!
