Do you realize what happened at your conversion? God came into your heart and made it His temple. In Old Testament days God dwelt in a temple made of stone; today He dwells in a temple composed of living believers. When we really see that God has made our hearts His dwelling place, what a deep reverence will come over our lives! All lightness, all frivolity will end, and all self-pleasing too, when we know that we are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells within us. Has it really come to you that wherever you go you carry with you the Holy Spirit of God? You do not just carry your Bible with you, or even much good teaching about God, but God Himself.
The reason why many Christians do not experience the power of the Spirit, though He actually dwells in their hearts, is that they lack reverence. And they lack reverence because they have not had their eyes opened to the fact of His presence. The fact is there, but they have not seen it. Why is it that some Christians are living victorious lives while others live in a state of constant defeat? The difference is not accounted for by the presence or absence of the Spirit (for He dwells in the heart of every child of God) but by this, that some recognize His indwelling and others do not. True revelation of the fact of the Spirit's indwelling will revolutionize the life of any Christian.

I have been reading a book by Watchman Nee and he talks about the Christian life and here is a quote from the book: "The Apostle Paul gives us his own definition of the Christian life in Galations 2:20. It is "no longer I, but Christ". Here He is not stating something special or peculiar--a high level of Christianity. He is we believe, presenting God's normal for a Christian, which can be summarized in the words: I live no longer, but Christ lives His life in me. God makes it quite clear in His Word that he has only one answer to every human need--His Son, Jesus Christ!"

Then you are to serve Him by following His Word and fulfilling His will in your life until He calls you home. As the verse above tells us life is short so we must ask ourselves….am I doing what God has told me to do???

Finally, I confessed all my sins to You and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the LORD.” And You forgave me! All my guilt is gone. - Psalm 32:5
When we come to the Lord for salvation an absolutely necessary step is to confess we are sinners, repent of those sins, and then receive the forgiveness of those sins by the shed blood of Jesus! There is no other way! We also need to confess any sin committed after that as told in 1John 1:9.

Chew on this verse today. God has shown us in His Word what is good and what we are to do. It is our duty to do what He says.

I Peter 3:15
The Lord tells us to be ready to defend why your hope is in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Are you ready? Can you tell someone why you are a follower of Jesus and what He has done for you upon the cross? This is why we must be reading and studying His Word! Not only to defend ourselves but to give hope to others!!

Take time today just to chew on this verse and then do what it says. You can do it anywhere. Give the Lord the glory due His name!!!! He deserves all the honor, praise, prestige, and uplifting we can muster up! Also worship Him as He desires us to do for He is the Almighty God!!!

Is your heart reflecting the godly values you claim to have or the values of the world? the only way we can live with godly values is through the power of the Holy Spirit that dwells inside someone who has received Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Micah 6:8

God has told us what He expects. We have no excuses. He gave us His instruction book the Bible. We can not claim ignorance, all we may claim in laziness because we chose not to read it, learn it, and do it.

Life will be easy after salvation.
Jesus tells us the exact opposite. He tells us because we follow Him we will face many troubles in life. He also reminds us that this side of heaven is not our home but we are strangers on this earth as we belong with Him in heaven!
Heaven is a real place!--
The bible is clear---Heaven is the home of those who place their faith in Jesus Christ for eternity.
Hell---may think Hell is not real or that God would not allow someone to go there. Both of these thoughts are false!
