What you need to know about Islam #10

In the book Sahih Al-Bukhari, volume titled Book of Jihad, Vol.4, book 52, page 34 it tells that Muhammad was once asked if it was ok to kill women and children if they believed in many gods or infidels. Muhammad said “I consider them as their parents.” So that means if it was ok to kill their parents who were infidels, which Muhammad had already said was ok, then the killing of women and children was ok too. This is why you see no mercy among Isis and the Boko-Harams of the world.

What about killing of leaders who either break or do not conform to Islamic law? I bet you already know. Here is an example, the third leader after Muhammad’s death, Uthman ibn Affan, was accused of several things that break Islamic law including moral failures, mishandling money, and others. There arose protest about his leadership and many muslims asked for his resignation. He declined by swearing to Allah that he would not give up leadership. Within a short period of time they killed him which brings us to our second principle: It is right to murder a governor or leader who is not in compliance with Islamic law.

After this murder the Islamic nation was divided and changed forever.

Since I covered this in a previous study, another principle is: Deceit/lies are acceptable if it helps you achieve the goals of Islam.

Tomorrow we will look at another principle and see why suicide bombers are so prevalent in Islam.
