Revelation #3

As we continue on in our study of Revelation remember where we are picking up today in theses verses it is continuing to refer to Jesus:



Revelation 1:6-8



6 and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 7 Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."



In verse 6 the Word is reminding us who we are in Christ. We are kings and priests to the Most High God whom we should be giving all the glory and dominion forever!! Isn't that a encouraging word for us this morning? Verse 7 is a warning to all that soon Jesus will be coming in the clouds, ALL will see Him, even those who persecuted Him, and all people groups (tribes) that have not called upon his name to be saved will cry uncontrollably as they realize that Jesus really is who He said He was....Savior of the world. We see in verses 6 and 7 there are two people groups in God's eyes..those who have trusted Jesus and those that haven't. There is no middle ground!



In verse 8 Jesus reminds us who He is....the first and the last meaning He has always been and always will be! He also reminds us He is coming and He is the almighty! Oh give praise to Jesus this morning!



When I read verse 8 it gets me fired up!!! See you tomorrow!
