This is an awesome verse for us to apply to our lives:
Proverbs 19:21
Many are the plans in the mind of man,
but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
This verse really is self-explanatory. We each have many things in life we want to do. Plans and dreams of how we will get them done. The only problem is our plans may not be Gods plans. If we truly place our lives in Gods hands our plans are set aside and we pray for God to do His will in our lives. This is not easy because we are naturally selfish people. As this verse tells us though in the end the only thing that will matter is the purposes of God done in our lives.
So let me ask you this morning as I have asked myself....are you living out Gods plans or your own plans?
